I am a recent MPhil graduate from the College of Medicine and Dentistry, James Cook University, Australia. Prior to that, I obtained an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Rwanda and a BSc in Statistics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. My research focuses on developing statistical and machine learning methods motivated by ample information in epidemiological and biological data.
Before studying Mathematical Sciences, I served as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic Saki, Nigeria, where I taught undergraduate courses in statistics and applied mathematics, developed teaching materials and assessments, coordinated tutorials sessions, and mentored students on projects and study skills.
Beyond research and teaching, I am driven to uplift people through mentoring and clear communication, because knowledge should create hope and practical action. Keep going: small, consistent steps compound into meaningful change.
